UT Martin’s two-way star turned all-time defensive anchor
Chelsey Perry remains one of UT Martin’s most decorated frontcourt players: in her final college season (2020-21), she averaged 22.9 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.7 blocks, 1.1 steals, and shot 50.2% from the field while earning back-to-back OVC scoring honors. What makes her special is the rare combo of efficient shot-making, perimeter range, and rim protection—she left UT Martin as the program’s all-time blocks leader (228) and top-five in points, rebounds, field goals made, and free throws made. That stat line screams “two-way problem.”
