a veteran Wake Forest walk-on with real team-first value
Grant van Beveren is a 6-foot-6 Wake Forest forward whose profile is built more on steadiness, maturity, and chemistry than box-score fireworks. In his Wake Forest seasons from 2020-21 through 2022-23, he appeared sparingly and was used as a reserve/walk-on presence, with official stats showing modest scoring and rebounding output but perfect or near-perfect efficiency in tiny sample sizes. His value is the unglamorous stuff: program familiarity, experience, and buy-in. If you want a deep-rotation connector who knows his role and keeps the locker room grounded, he fits that bill.
