Cort Lowry is emerging as a nasty midweek weapon for Tarleton State
In the 2026 season, Tarleton State right-hander Cort Lowry has shown real swing-and-miss stuff, striking out 44 batters in 54.0 innings while posting a 3.33 ERA and 1.04 WHIP across 14 appearances with 13 starts[4][6][7]. He also earned WAC Pitcher of the Week honors after a no-hit, seven-strikeout outing against New Mexico, and his 6-foot-3 frame plus workhorse starter usage suggest a poised, attack-the-zone arm with upside; he looks like a fit if you want competitiveness, rotation depth, and a pitcher who can miss bats without needing perfect command every inning[1][3].
