Alex James brings versatility and big-play upside to VMI's secondary
Alex James is a versatile defensive back for VMI whose value is tied to all-around athleticism, special-teams utility, and the kind of adaptable profile coaches can plug into multiple roles. Publicly available stat and recruiting data on this Alex James is limited, so the clearest read is that he fits as a developmental DB with multi-purpose upside rather than a high-profile stat producer. If your team wants a physical, flexible defender who can grow into more responsibility, he’s the type of player worth tracking.
