Illinois State LB with Undersized Firepower and Tackling Tenacity
DeMarco Washington stands out as an FCS linebacker for the Illinois State Redbirds, bringing explosive speed, relentless pursuit, and a nose for the ball that belies his undersized frame—perfect for teams seeking a high-motor, sideline-to-sideline defender who thrives in aggressive schemes. His intensity and football IQ make him a tone-setter on defense, with no reported injury concerns, positioning him as an intriguing Day 3 NFL draft prospect or immediate special teams ace for Power 5 programs needing grit over size.
