NAU’s old-school, high-IQ defensive back with scholar-athlete polish
Hansler’s Northern Arizona profile shows a safety/defensive-back type whose value has been tied to ball production and disciplined play, including 68 tackles and 4 interceptions in his prep résumé, plus All-Citrus Belt League and All-Inland Division honors. He also stood out off the field as a scholar-athlete with AP Physics recognition and honor-roll credentials, which hints at a detail-oriented, coachable fit. If you want a defender who brings toughness, instincts, and consistency rather than just flash, Hansler checks the box.
