Aidan Scott brings dual-threat toughness and red-zone upside to Cal Poly
Aidan Scott is a former Santa Ynez standout who arrived at Cal Poly after a senior season that combined tight end and defensive-end toughness, plus a physical profile that shows real two-way competitiveness. In his senior year of high school, he caught 18 passes for 381 yards and two touchdowns and also produced 16 tackles, 1.5 sacks, two pass breakups, five quarterback hurries, and a fumble recovery, while missing five games due to injury. He played in 10 games as a true freshman at Cal Poly in 2023, which suggests a player the staff already trusted to contribute.
