Tim Grack’s arm talent and strikeout upside make him a notable UC Irvine righty
Grack is a **power-armed pitcher** with real bat-missing upside: Perfect Game listed him at **91 mph** in high school, and his UC Irvine freshman season showed swing-and-miss ability with **39 strikeouts in 35.1 innings** across 16 appearances and eight starts in 2026.[1][3] The refinement area is command, since he also issued **21 walks** and finished with a **5.60 ERA** as a first-year college arm.[1] He looks like a fit for teams valuing upside, competitiveness, and development runway rather than immediate polish.[1][3]
