Cameron Saffle is a physical, productive Cal linebacker with proven pass-rush upside
Saffle’s profile is built on **versatility and disruption**: Cal lists him at 73 career tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, and 5.5 sacks, while 2016 was his most productive season with 57 tackles and 8.5 TFL in 12 starts.[6][3] At 6-foot-3 and about 245 pounds, he brought edge-size and inside-linebacker toughness, and his value came from playing downhill, setting the tone, and affecting the backfield rather than just piling up clean-up stats.[4][6] The big caution is health—he missed part of his career with a torn ACL and later medically retired—so his tape says impact player, but availability was the separator.[5][3]
