Carus Epps gives South Carolina State some interior muscle and trench grit
Carus Epps is a defensive lineman for South Carolina State whose value starts with the unglamorous stuff: interior leverage, physicality, and the kind of effort that can muddy an opponent’s run game and pocket rhythm. His profile suggests a true trench defender rather than a stat-sheet celebrity, so the fit question is simple—if a team wants a tough, high-motor DT who helps set the tone on early downs, he’s a strong look. The main draw is dependable interior presence, not flash.
