A versatile Delaware State DB with upside in coverage and run support
Jasper Owens fits the profile of a valuable defensive back because he can add flexibility in coverage, support the run, and compete with the physical edge coaches want on special teams and sub-packages. Publicly available, reliable season-level performance data for Owens is limited in the provided sources, so the best evaluation is based on his role at Delaware State and the typical value of a DB who can handle multiple assignments, communicate well, and play with urgency. If he shows consistency, tackling reliability, and quick change-of-direction ability, he could be a useful fit for a defense that needs adaptable depth.
