Tommy Lawley is a veteran Navy linebacker with proven run-fit instincts
Tommy Lawley is a seasoned Navy linebacker whose value starts with reliability: he’s been in the program for years, contributed on defense in 2020, and was described by Navy as a good athlete with a chance to be an effective pass rusher. His appeal is the classic Navy profile—assignment-sound, physical, and tough enough to fit a disciplined system—rather than flashy stat-sheet production. If you want a linebacker who brings experience, effort, and scheme fit, he’s worth a look; if you need a high-volume splash-play creator, that’s less clearly his lane.
