veteran UMES guard with a bench-spark profile
Randell Pickett is a Maryland Eastern Shore guard whose most visible impact has been as a bench contributor, including a 10-point outing in a 2016 win preview and a listed 2.3 points per game in UMES’s 2024-25 depth chart context[1][2]. The appeal here is not eye-popping volume—it’s guard depth, experience, and the ability to give a team reliable minutes without forcing the issue[1][2]. He looks like the kind of low-drama, team-first piece coaches like: steady, situational, and useful if you need maturity and a ready-made rotation guard rather than a headline scorer[1][2].
