Jaleesa Trussell brings steady two-way value for Detroit
Trussell is a versatile, high-motor forward who has shown she can contribute without needing the offense built around her: as a freshman at Detroit, she scored from the wing, while later at Parkside she logged a full season of steady production, including 5.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, 41 steals and 29 assists in 2011-12. That stat line points to a scrappy, connected player who impacts games with activity, defense and timely scoring rather than sheer volume, making her a good fit for a team that values toughness, versatility and reliability.[1][3][6]
