South Carolina State’s bruising, award-winning run game engine
Baker is best known for being a hard-charging South Carolina State RB who piled up 3,695 rushing yards and 33 touchdowns from 2003-06, including 1,289 rushing yards in the 2006 season when he led the MEAC and earned conference offensive player of the year honors. He brings proven big-game production, consistency, and a reputation for running with edge; reports also note he battled a serious knee injury after a Cleveland Browns camp stint, which adds some durability context. If you want a back with pedigree, toughness, and real top-tier production, he’s the kind of name that pops immediately.
