Garrett Rede is turning depth-piece reps into clutch Lobos production
In the 2026 season, New Mexico outfielder Garrett Rede has been a spark plug, not a filler—hitting .368 with 10 RBI in his first seven games and delivering multiple big-moment swings, including a grand slam and a walk-off RBI. He brings proven left-center-right field versatility, a history of high-end power and run production at Regis, and a reputation for timely, competitive at-bats. The fit? Strong. If a team wants a mature, late-blooming bat who can punish mistakes and handle pressure, Rede looks like the kind of player coaches trust when the game gets spicy.
