Anthony Bates is a tackling-volume linebacker with proven WKU production
Anthony Bates has already flashed real production for Western Kentucky, posting 18 total tackles and 1 tackle for loss in his career with 13 tackles and that same TFL in the 2026 season to date. He looks like a dependable, downhill LB who can stack and shed, and the stat line suggests he’s earning trust as a steady rotational piece. The appeal is straightforward: if a team wants a physical, assignment-sound linebacker who brings effort and isn’t shy about contact, Bates fits the mold.
