Cal Poly’s Jesse Ehrlich brings left-footed upside and reliable field-position control
Ehrlich is a developmental punter with clear upside: Cal Poly listed him as appearing in all 11 games in 2024, averaging 34.8 yards on six punts with two inside the 20, and he posted a 40.0-yard average in 2023 with a long of 66 and six punts inside the 20.[1] His differentiators are his left-footed operation, quick get-off, rollout ability, and demonstrated 50+ yard power, which give him more than just a standard directional-punting profile.[4] He looks like a fit for a team that values ceiling, touch, and placement as much as raw distance.[1][4]
