Talyia Cawthon gives Rust a steady two-way spark on the perimeter
In the 2025-26 season, senior guard Talyia Cawthon has been one of Rust College’s most reliable offensive engines, averaging 15.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 2.5 steals per game while playing 33 minutes a night. She’s a physical, active defender who creates extra possessions with her hands, and she can take over stretches when Rust needs a bucket. The shot can be a little streaky, but the motor, toughness, and volume scoring make her a real fit for teams that want an experienced guard who competes on every possession.
