High-upside 6'6" RHP brings size and senior experience to Gardner-Webb
Gentile is a towering right-hander for Gardner-Webb who brings a pro-style frame, senior experience, and multiple seasons of college innings, including work at San Joaquin Delta and Gardner-Webb. In 2024, he logged 21.0 innings with 14 appearances, showing the durability to be used in relief and the kind of low-risk profile teams like when they want a big-bodied arm with development upside. His appeal is his size, right-handed look, and experience against college hitters; the open question is whether the stuff can consistently translate into impact outs at the next level.
