David Park offers veteran guard depth and low-drama reliability for UMBC
David Park is a seasoned UMBC guard whose value comes more from trust and feel than empty box-score flash: he’s an experienced rotation player, a former NABC Honors Court selection, and part of the UMBC program that carried a championship-level pedigree from its historic run. In the most recent season info available, he appeared in 33 games with one start and contributed modest scoring, which points to a dependable role player who can handle structure, compete without needing the ball, and fit a team that wants maturity, stability, and basketball IQ over high-usage production.
