American University center Mariam Veppumthara brings veteran size and interior presence
Mariam Veppumthara is a seasoned American University big who gives the Eagles a true interior anchor, with roster records showing her as a center across multiple seasons and game logs noting she could chip in offensively, including an eight-point outing for AU in 2003. She’s most valuable as a paint presence and experienced teammate rather than a box-score star, and the available sources suggest she was part of the core of an American team built around cohesion and defensive toughness. If you need a dependable post body with familiarity in the program, she fits that profile.
