Calvin Wishart brings steady shot-making and veteran poise to UCSB’s backcourt
In the 2022-23 season, Calvin Wishart averaged 7.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists for UC Santa Barbara while shooting 45.8% from the field and 37.7% from three, a nice indicator of a guard who can space the floor and keep an offense organized.[1][2] His best value is the combo of experience, decision-making and reliable perimeter touch—plus he’s shown he can handle real minutes and produce without needing the ball every second, which is coach-speak for “useful in any good team concept.”[1][2]
