Cal Poly long snapper Zac Powell brings reliable special-teams grit
Zac Powell is best known as a dependable, high-effort long snapper for Cal Poly, a niche role where consistency, toughness, and clean delivery matter more than box-score flash. In his Cal Poly years, he was trusted on special teams, including snapping in every game in 2013 and 2014 and even contributing tackles and a fumble recovery, which hints at real field awareness and hustle. He profiles as the kind of player coaches love: low-drama, assignment-sure, and built for steady special-teams value rather than headline stats.
