Dailynn Motes is an emerging Troy utility bat with breakout upside
Motes, a true freshman for Troy in 2025-26, showed real offensive upside with a breakout 2-for-3 game that produced her first career multi-hit and multi-RBI performance, signaling a player who can grow into a versatile lineup piece. She also arrives with a strong prep résumé from Thompson High School, where she was part of a 7A state-title roster and posted elite high-school production. The fit question is less about flash and more about dependable versatility: she looks like a developing UTL who can add contact, competitive at-bats, and roster flexibility.
