Delaware State LB with Proven Tackling Grit from NY Roots
Cherrod White, a 6'2", 197-lb linebacker for the Delaware State Hornets (Class of 2018, Nike rating 82.56), brings explosive athleticism—5.03 40-yard dash, 4.46 shuttle, 27.2" vertical—that powered his high school dominance at Half Hollow Hills West; transitioning from HS OLB, his high-motor intensity and powerball toss of 40.5 ft mark him as a sideline-to-sideline pursuer ideal for run-stuffing defenses. No major injury flags, raw upside screams FCS gem—perfect fit for teams needing versatile, relentless LB depth to elevate tackling efficiency.
