Ball State’s veteran safety brings production, versatility, and playmaking upside
Jaquan Amos enters Ball State as a proven defensive back with a strong ball-hawking résumé: at Villanova he piled up 149 tackles, 25 passes defended, eight interceptions, and four defensive touchdowns, while also earning all-conference recognition for impact plays and range. His value goes beyond the box score—he has shown he can flip momentum with takeaways, return a pick for six, and contribute as a steady, experienced presence after stops at Villanova and Iowa State. If you need a safety who can diagnose quickly, tackle reliably, and create turnovers, he looks like a good fit.
