Cameron McCurry is a disruptive, playmaking safety with a knack for turning defense into momentum
McCurry’s calling card is impact: at Villanova, he showed strong ball skills and back-end range, pairing **three interceptions**, **six tackles for loss**, and **two sacks** in a season that earned him CAA Defensive Player of the Week honors. He stands out as an aggressive, physical safety who can fit in a defense that values turnover creation and run support, not just coverage. The bigger-picture read is that he brings proven playmaking and intensity—useful if your team wants a defensive back who can affect the game in multiple ways rather than just survive in coverage.
