veteran Missouri State guard with walk-on grit and academic polish
In the 2026 season, Ryan Carmichael stands out more for feel, toughness, and reliability than box-score flash: Missouri State lists him as a 6-4 guard, ESPN’s current profile shows modest production, and his program bio highlights a walk-on path, Dean’s List academics, and a reputation for being a highly touted shooter. He brings mature, low-drama value—size on the perimeter, team-first energy, and the kind of work ethic coaches usually love. If you want a sneaky-intelligent guard who knows his role, he’s worth a hard look.
