Gritty HBCU DB with Pro Tryout Pedigree from Lane College
Nijul Canada, a hard-nosed safety from Mansfield High (LA) via Lane College, flashed 54 tackles and 1 INT over 10 games in the 2022 season at the D2 level, earning Draft Scout buzz as a CFL/USFL tryout candidate with tester upside. Now with Arkansas-Pine Bluff's Golden Lions (UA-PB), his Hudl highlights showcase relentless pursuit, shake-and-bake jukes, and 'never give up' intensity—ideal for SWAC defenses needing versatile DBs who thrive in physical, high-motor roles. No 2025 stats yet, but his under-the-radar hustle makes him a steal for teams seeking lunch-pail competitors over flash.
