Western Illinois DB David Griffith brings size, tackling, and ball production
David Griffith is a 5-foot-11, 210-pound defensive back for Western Illinois whose profile suggests a physical, dependable secondary piece rather than a flashy one. In his Western Illinois career, he started all 11 games in 2016 and posted 54 tackles with 39 solo stops, and earlier notes from the program highlighted a season with all 12 games played, two interceptions, and a fumble recovery[5][3]. He was also recognized on the MVFC Academic Honor Roll, which adds a steady, high-discipline angle to his value[5].
