Tennessee State Guard Who Lit Up the 2008-09 Season
Charisse Hicks, a gritty senior guard for the Tennessee State Lady Tigers in 2008-09, started 21 of 31 games, ranking fourth in team scoring with reliable double-digit outputs like 16 points in a key OVC win; her second-half heroics, including 11 points in a tough loss to Eastern Illinois, showcased clutch intensity and leadership that kept TSU competitive. A JUCO transfer with battle-tested poise, Hicks stands out for her consistency and fire—perfect for teams needing a tough, starting-caliber guard who elevates in big moments.
