M.J. Wright brings a polished Delbarton bat and outfield upside to Lafayette
M.J. Wright, a freshman outfielder at Lafayette in the 2026 season, arrives with a steady offensive track record from Delbarton, where he was a two-year starter and hit .327 as a senior. He looks like the kind of player who can add value beyond the box score: coachable, academically strong, and apparently wired for responsibility as a student ambassador coordinator. Why care? He profiles as a disciplined, high-floor fit for a program that values maturity, contact ability, and reliable outfield play — a sneaky-good roster building block.
