low-usage Xavier center with size and rebounding upside
Simons is a **7-foot Xavier center** whose current value is tied more to **rim size, rebounding presence, and interior physicality** than scoring volume; ESPN lists him at **0.6 points and 0.9 rebounds per game** on **25.0% shooting** in the current statistical snapshot.[1] His recruiting pedigree matters, too: Xavier described him as a highly touted prep prospect who posted **19.4 points, 15.0 rebounds, and 4.0 blocks per game** as a senior, signaling a classic paint anchor profile with legitimate defensive upside.[4] If you need a big body who can alter shots and clean the glass, he fits that mold—though he looks more developmental than polished right now.[1][4]
