Gabriel Murphy brings NFL-caliber burst and proven sack production
In the 2023 season at UCLA, Gabriel Murphy posted 38 tackles, 16 tackles for loss and 8 sacks, and his profile points to a disruptive edge defender with real closing speed and bend off the corner. He’s the kind of DL/edge piece who can win with burst, effort and backfield violence rather than pure size, which makes him attractive if your defense wants constant pressure and a high-motor finisher. His production spike and combine-level athleticism suggest upside, though he’s best when used as a pass-rush specialist rather than a heavy two-gap anchor.
