Low-usage ECU guard with deep-range touch and a proven scorer’s background
Whitley is a compact guard from Washington, NC who showed real shooting punch in high school, averaging 16.1 points as a senior while hitting 86% of his free throws and 51% from three, and he carried that profile into East Carolina as a perimeter-oriented role player.[1][2][3] His current college box score impact is modest, but the differentiator is clear: he brings shot-making gravity, guard depth, and a scorer’s confidence that can fit a roster needing spacing and a steady practice competitor.[1][3]
