Southern’s Chase Foster brings playmaking range and ball skills at safety
Chase Foster is a disruptive **safety** for Southern University whose impact shows up in takeaways: ESPN lists him with **4 interceptions**, **2 forced fumbles**, **15 solo tackles**, and **1 pass breakup** in the available stats.[2] He stands out as a defender who can create momentum-changing plays rather than just accumulate tackles, which makes him attractive for a staff looking for instinctive, opportunistic secondary help.[2] For a team fit, the appeal is his **turnover creation** and proven ability to finish plays; the main question is how consistently he can translate that splash-play profile into every-down reliability.[2]
