Andrew Bloodsaw Jr. brings veteran ball-hawking experience to MVSU’s secondary
In the 2021 season, Andrew Bloodsaw Jr. recorded 3 interceptions for Mississippi Valley State, a strong sign of playmaking instincts from the defensive back spot.[12] Listed at 5-foot-11 and 171 pounds, he profiles as a lean, responsive DB with enough range to fit coverage-heavy schemes and enough experience to read quarterbacks before the throw.[1][2] The biggest question is recent production, since public stats are sparse after that, but his résumé shows a player who can find the football and help stabilize a secondary—useful if you want discipline, anticipation, and a little sneaky swagger on the back end.[1][12]
