Delaware State’s Intense LB with Elite Tackling and MEAC-Ready Grit
Pontraille Gray, the 6-3 LB for Delaware State Hornets, stands out not just for his 2024 season stats (12 solo tackles, 3 assisted), but for his relentless intensity and football IQ that elevate the entire defensive unit. Unlike many peers, Gray has zero injury history and brings a personality marked by quiet leadership and explosive on-field aggression—traits that make him a perfect fit for teams needing a high-motor, reliable tackler. While Delaware State finished 1–11 in 2024, Gray’s differentiator is his ability to perform under pressure, consistently ranking among MEAC stat leaders in tackles per game. He’s a good fit for any team seeking a LB who combines physicality with mental toughness, and his clean record means he’s ready to contribute immediately without rehab concerns.
