CJ Noland brings veteran scoring and perimeter shot-making to New Mexico
CJ Noland is a proven guard who can score in bursts, space the floor, and give a team older-backcourt reliability; in the 2023-24 season at North Texas he averaged 10.9 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists, shot 38.4% from three, and finished with 20 double-figure games, then carried that momentum into New Mexico with postseason flashes, including 11 points on 3-of-4 from deep in the NCAA Tournament. His fit is strongest for a team that values a steady, low-drama combo guard with experience, toughness and enough shooting gravity to make defenses account for him.
