Austin Peay’s bullpen arm earning midseason national attention
In 2026, Gavin Alveti was named to the NCBWA Midseason Stopper of the Year Watch List, signaling that he has become one of Austin Peay’s most trusted right-handed relief options.[1] That kind of recognition suggests a pitcher with late-inning value, consistency, and the ability to handle pressure, which is exactly what teams want in a bullpen fit. For a roster looking for a dependable right-hander who can stabilize high-leverage innings, Alveti looks like a strong fit and a name worth watching closely.[1]
