Jackson State DB with limited public stat trail
Melvin Lattimore is listed as a **defensive back for Jackson State**, but the public search results provide **very little verified performance detail** about his current season, so the safest read is that he is an *unproven but watch-list* prospect rather than a clearly established standout.[3][4] Based on the role, the key fit questions for a team are **coverage reliability, tackling consistency, and special-teams value**—the traits that usually separate a useful DB from a roster filler—but there is not enough reliable reporting here to credibly claim more specific strengths, rankings, or injury context.[3][4]
