a physical, high-upside linebacker with Mississippi roots
Archie Sims is a former West Virginia linebacker prospect from Laurel, Mississippi, who was rated among the state’s top high school players and featured as an outside linebacker recruit by 247Sports and WVU’s roster profile.[2][4] His appeal is the classic linebacker mix: pedigree as a recognized defensive prospect, size-and-physicality upside, and the kind of low-flash role fit that can translate well in a system valuing discipline and run support.[2][4] Publicly available college stat tracking is limited, so the best read is that he was valued more for his developmental traits and fit than for eye-popping numbers.[6]
