Desmond Owino brings veteran size and disruptive edge to Jacksonville State
In the 2026 season, Desmond Owino is a 6-5, 280-pound senior defensive lineman for Jacksonville State who brings veteran experience, length, and power to the Gamecocks’ front[1]. He’s been recognized as an all-conference newcomer in the past and has the kind of build that can collapse pockets and eat blocks, which makes him valuable even when the stat sheet stays quiet[1][2]. If your team wants a physical, older-line presence with proven program familiarity and a blue-collar profile, Owino fits the bill.
