Aaron McCauley brings Navy-style grit: strong, physical, and special-teams savvy
McCauley’s profile is built for the Navy mold: despite a modest frame, he’s been described as extremely strong, fast, and a solid special-teams performer, with a starting-caliber edge at outside linebacker. His differentiator is functional toughness, not flash — he plays with the kind of intensity and leverage that fits a disciplined, assignment-driven defense. The caution flag is that the publicly available data is dated, so this is more of a traits-based fit read than a current 2026 production snapshot.
