Chris Stegall brings a compact, transfer-tested punt game to Northwestern State
Chris Stegall is a junior punter at Northwestern State who arrived after LSU and gives the Demons a smaller but experienced specialist option at 5-8, 167. His value is in field-position consistency and a transfer pedigree that suggests he has already been exposed to high-level competition, which can matter more than raw size at specialist spots. The main fit question is whether he can translate that background into dependable hang time and placement for Northwestern State’s game plan.[1]
