Kalaya Buggs brings steady guard play and veteran poise to Coastal Carolina
Kalaya Buggs is a compact, experienced guard who fits the “makes the game easier” mold: in her Coastal Carolina season, she averaged 2.4 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.8 assists while shooting 37.3% from the field, and her broader résumé shows she can also scale up into a bigger role when needed. Her differentiators are toughness, ball-handling, and willingness to do the little stuff, plus a track record of contributing at multiple stops. If a team wants a dependable, low-drama guard who can organize, defend, and stay poised under pressure, she’s the kind of player coaches tend to trust.
