Virginia’s high-upside infield bat with all-state pedigree
In the 2026 season, Hannah Tober is a freshman/sophomore infield piece for Virginia who brings elite prep credentials and a real bat-to-ball foundation, highlighted by a No. 48 Extra Innings Softball ranking and a 2025 Virginia Player of the Year nod[1]. She also comes from a winner’s environment, with a state title, multiple all-state honors, and national travel-ball success that points to high competitive juice and upside[1]. Her 2026 numbers were modest offensively, so she profiles more as a long-term fit than an instant stat-stuffer, but the toolbox and pedigree are loud[2][4].
