Noah Ruiz brings veteran pop and RBI punch to Northwestern
In the 2026 season, graduate INF Noah Ruiz was a steady middle-of-the-order producer for Northwestern, starting all 52 games and finishing tied for second on the team in batting average (.295) and RBI (39). He opened with an eight-game hitting streak, flashed real damage with power in big moments, and even logged a seven-RBI eruption against Rice—hello, statement game. The draw here is his blend of experience, contact ability, and timely pop; he looks like a fit for a team that wants a reliable, battle-tested bat with leadership energy.
