Trey James brings a polished lefty frame to Wofford’s 2026 pitching mix
Trey James is a 6-foot-1, 210-pound freshman left-handed pitcher for Wofford in the 2026 season, arriving with a strong high-school résumé that includes All-Region first-team honors and back-to-back Georgia 7A Elite Eight runs at North Gwinnett. His fastball was reported to top out at 87 mph as a junior, so the intrigue is more about projection, competitiveness, and starter-friendly lefty value than raw velo right now. He’s the kind of arm a staff can develop, especially if you like repeatable winners with a sturdy build and room to grow.
